In addition to the updated design of the series announced at the beginning of this year, both watches are equipped with the latest generation automatic movement Caliber 5900, launching in 2022.

Audemars Piguet’s new 38mm Code 11.59 Automatic watch is designed for slender wrists. Complementing the collection’s existing portfolio of 41mm and 42mm models, the new format will first be available on two 18-karat rose gold watches. Even with the reduced case size, these two watches undoubtedly display the design characteristics of the Audemars Piguet Code 11.59.

The new case includes an octagonal case middle, an ultra-flat bezel and a rounded case back. The upper part of the stylized lugs is welded to the bezel, while the lower part rests against and is flush with the caseback.

As carefully crafted as the factory movement: the case
The modern case is as carefully crafted as the manufacturer's movement. A delicate alternation of satin and polished bevels emphasizes its multifaceted structure. In keeping with the evolution of the series’ design earlier this year, the crown has a flatter but more pronounced groove to match the complex geometry of the case.

Both models are crafted in 18-carat rose gold, creating an elegant contrast. The first watch features a vibrant purple dial and matching bracelet. The second model is more understated in a shimmering ivory hue.

Both watches feature the latest dial designs in the series.
The embossed dial shows an impressive structural evolution, developed jointly by Audemars Piguet and Swiss guilloche artist Yann von Kaenel. On the new dial, hundreds of tiny depressions are arranged in a wave-like pattern from the center outward, creating a unique color effect. The purple or ivory nuances of the two dials are achieved through the PVD process (Physical Vapor Deposition). In this way, the grooves of the relief pattern are preserved while maximizing the lighting effect is achieved. The new faceted and polished hour markers and hands provide a sharp contrast. In addition, the hands have a luminous coating, making it easy to read the time in the dark.

Both watches are paired with an alligator leather strap with "large angular scales" in the dial color and an 18-karat rose gold pin buckle engraved with "Audemars Piguet" - a new addition to the series. Both ultra-modern watches are powered by the manufacturer's latest automatic movement, displaying hours, minutes, seconds and date. The 5900 movement first appears in 2022 on some 37mm Royal Oak models. 4mm thin movement, high frequency of 4Hz, power reserve of 60 hours. Through the sapphire crystal case back, you can see the mechanism, the oscillating weight made of 22-carat rose gold, and the exquisite decoration of the individual components, such as polished edges, vertical satin finishes, Côtes de Genève stripes, pearls and bevels.
